How do I register for a program?

What is the cost of workshops and trainings?

Can I get a refund?
We don’t issue refunds. But you may transfer your place to a colleague or receive credit that you can use towards another program. Please contact finnigan@unc.edu to make arrangements, or if you have other questions.
Do these programs offer CE’s?
Yes. Visit the CE Info page for more details.
Where can I find information on joining Zoom webinars?
To make sure you have everything you need before a webinar, visit their website.
How do I get my certificate after a live program?
Log onto the UNC SSW event site to complete an evaluation and follow directions to receive your personalized certificate (PDF format) that can be printed or saved.
** Please note it takes time to confirm attendance for all eligible participants. Confirmed participants will receive an email within seven business days following a training when these are available. **
How do I download a certificate for a course I completed in the past?

Can I get a scholarship to access a program?
The application for scholarships is located at sswevents.unc.edu.
Our programs are free to the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Social Work including:
- Current UNC practicum instructors and task supervisors – Enter coupon code you received from the practicum office or registration site.
- Current students, faculty, and staff – Fees are waived automatically. Log in with your ONYEN. You may see a fee at first, but before you check out it should change to $0. Email the program manager if the problem persists.
- Individuals with IDD/Special Needs, Self-Advocates, and their families can attend Focus on Family and Disability Seminars for FREE.
